Four More Days of Funda, Many Ways to Celebrate: Black Storytelling & the Women of Isis Storm

RHODE ISLAND – Last year’s Funda Fest festivities brought performers like Christylez Bacon and Teju Ologboni, featured in the video above. Ologboni has returned for Funda Fest 13, joining RI Black Storytellers (RIBS) performers, Len Cabral, Abigail Ifatola Jefferson, Raffini, Valerie Tutson and Rochel Coleman; national guests, Derek Burrows (originally from the Bahamas), Nothando Zulu (from Minneapolis, MN) and The Honorable Baba-C from Washington, DC; members of the local poetry group, Spittin Images; and a number performers from Isis Storm.
