Close March, Catch Isis Storm: Artists and Events at Roots Cafe

24 Mar

Have you heard that Isis Storm co-founder, Reza Clifton, was hired as Artistic Director at Providence Inner City Arts and Roots Cafe?  If not – or if so – check out all the events she’s helping to make happen at the downtown gathering place and performance venue – with help from other members and friends of Isis Storm and a ton of great area and regional artists.  For example…

  • Tonight, catch music provided by “DJ Reza Wreckage” in between Fungus Amungus, RI’s Favorite Funk band.
  • On Saturday, March 26, join Reza and other members of RI Young Professionals to learn more about how to prepare your taxes before April 15.
  • On Sunday, March 27, support the RI Black Heritage Society and join other community members who are curious about writing, illustrating and publishing books at the book party and signing with Lesa Cline-Ransome and James Ransome.
  • Before next Thursday, March 31, contact Isis Storm sister, J9 (, about sharing your favorite poem, story or song lyrics at the Poetry Open House for Poets, Musicians and Storytellers.

Follow all the updates at or contact the organization/venue by emailing Reza: info@rootscafeprovidence.
